So one thing that I learned from planning this Birthday Cup Sleeves events is that it's almost like planning for other events like tea party, birthday party and etc. The only problem is is that they use a lot more money than a small birthday event than others. I'm onto my second Cup Sleeves event and personally I still see a few hiccups here and there. however, it wasn't like my first time because that first time was just a hectic and crazy mess, which is why I didn't blog about it.
For my second Cup Sleeves Event, I'm planning to share my ideas and of course my planning. The next coming event is, my team calls it ' Happy Feeljin Day' - A birthday Cup Sleeves Event for UNB's oldest members; Feeldog and Euijin. I think by know, if you follow me on Instagram, most would know my love for UNB, a K-pop project group that was formed back in early 2018 through a reality TV show and disbanded late January this year (with the most unofficial disbandment in the history of disbandment, ever). Anyways, back to the post, one thing I have learned about planning events is its more than just having a motive for the event.
So basically, my second event, the motive is to celebrate UNB's Euijin and Feeldog's birthdays and now that the date and venue are confirmed it's time to figure out the decor. As I was designing the web posters, it hit me how I need to finalize the decor details as soon as possible. But to really create and decorate, the details need to complement each other and this is where I learned that by doing so, the next step to event planning is the choice of colours. Thankfully, it was actually pretty easy because we had the cup sleeves design already and then one of the many things that can be related to the event is of course the symbol that represents Feeldog's is a rubber ducky. Thus, the choices for my colour palette was really easy. So I guess it was more of now planning to decorate the cafe during the day.
My decoration focus will be mostly to ensure that there is a wall where it will be transformed into the main celebration wall where those who came can just stand and take a picture in front of. Of course the pictures will have to be arrange well in order for it look interesting and cohesive. My team and I have a common goal when it comes to planning this event and that on top of just meeting and chilling out with the few fans of UNB and their respective members, we also want to make sure that, by word of mouth of course, we have one of the best decoration, amongst all other cup sleeve events.
As per the webposter, my next event is taking place on 23rd and 24th February 2019 so for this time, I am coming back and posting about the event.
