Sparkling Unicorn on the Next Cup Sleeves Event

So one thing that I learned from planning this Birthday Cup Sleeves events is that it's almost like planning for other events like tea party, birthday party and etc. The only problem is is that they use a lot more money than a small birthday event than others. I'm onto my second Cup Sleeves event and personally I still see a few hiccups here and there. however, it wasn't like my first time because that first time was just a hectic and crazy mess, which is why I didn't blog about it.

For my second Cup Sleeves Event, I'm planning to share my ideas and of course my planning. The next coming event is, my team calls it ' Happy Feeljin Day' - A birthday Cup Sleeves Event for UNB's oldest members; Feeldog and Euijin. I think by know, if you follow me on Instagram, most would know my love for UNB, a K-pop project group that was formed back in early 2018 through a reality TV show and disbanded late January this year (with the most unofficial disbandment in the history of disbandment, ever). Anyways, back to the post, one thing I have learned about planning events is its more than just having a motive for the event.

So basically, my second event, the motive is to celebrate UNB's Euijin and Feeldog's birthdays and now that the date and venue are confirmed it's time to figure out the decor. As I was designing the web posters, it hit me how I need to finalize the decor details as soon as possible. But to really create and decorate, the details need to complement each other and this is where I learned that by doing so, the next step to event planning is the choice of colours. Thankfully, it was actually pretty easy because we had the cup sleeves design already and then one of the many things that can be related to the event is of course the symbol that represents Feeldog's is a rubber ducky. Thus, the choices for my colour palette was really easy. So I guess it was more of now planning to decorate the cafe during the day.

My decoration focus will be mostly to ensure that there is a wall where it will be transformed into the main celebration wall where those who came can just stand and take a picture in front of. Of course the pictures will have to be arrange well in order for it look interesting and cohesive. My team and I have a common goal when it comes to planning this event and that on top of just meeting and chilling out with the few fans of UNB and their respective members, we also want to make sure that, by word of mouth of course, we have one of the best decoration, amongst all other cup sleeve events.

As per the webposter, my next event is taking place on 23rd and 24th February 2019 so for this time, I am coming back and posting about the event.

Sparkling Event Calling Cup Sleeves Event

Good day everyone!!!

It's been a while but the Unicorn is back and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! For this year, the year 2019, believe it or not, I have so much planned for myself but I refuse to call it my resolution because resolutions never really get fulfilled but plans does. One of the many things that I am planning for for this whole year is to dedicate my final year of fangirling for the great big world of K-pop to my latest K-pop obsession, UNB. Those who follows me on Instagram truly know how much I love UNB - a project K-pop boygroup created through a TV program and voted by local fans and consists of current active or soon-to-debut boy group members...fuh~ I have always been a fangirl of K-pop but never really am that type to go all out and truly support the artiste. But considering the unfair ending for the boys of UNB - Jun, Euijin, Hojung, Feeldog, Marco, Hansol, Daewon, Kijung and Chan - I just feel like maybe it's time and maybe if I do go all out this time, I might get over this phase of crazy fangirling.

So how do one fangirl dedicates her entire year for her already disbanded K-pop group? By holding the current trendy Cup Sleeves Event. Cup Sleeve Event is basically a day or two (some a whole week) dedicated to the artiste, it can be their birthdays, their debuts or their comebacks where the fans will design cup sleeves and invite their fellow fans to purchase a drink from the cafe they choose and in return they will get a cup sleeve. Of course, getting the cup sleeve isn't the end. It's the world of social medias now so sharing photos and hashtag those photos with the right hashtags, is a promise the fans have to do. The purpose of this event is entirely free advertising for the artistes only their management doesn't have to invest any costs for this but only the fans.

Believe me when I say this, it's really hard organising this event. From the planning to the preparing. Honestly, this is my first time organising this event so I guess that's why it's hard but so far it has been good. I'm just a little nervous about a lot of things and I don't think I will be not nervous until the event is over. Anyways, here are some designs that inspires me but of course, considering that I am only good with hand art, any form of digital arts, I'll just pass it to someone else with the reight expertise.

More juice will be squeeze about my first Cup Sleeve Event ever and it is happening in two weeks time. Honestly, I can't wait but again, I'm still crazy nervous about this. Anyways, as always in organising event, there must always be purpose, theme, details and finishing and I think I'm just about wrapping up the finishing part. Though, stay tune with The Sparkling Unicorn for more details.
