Unicorn Diary : That Tokyo Experience

KONICHIWA!!!

My Tokyo trip was over almost more than a week ago but as usual, considering my hectic and busy lifestyle or commitments, I was unable to truly sit down and think of the little Japan experience that I had. Some people told me that me travelling overseas would help to ease those tension that has been building up inside me. Some said that it might be an eye opening experience when I get home. A few long days has passed and I can only conclude that my short tip to Tokyo was both relaxing and eye-opening.

Sparkling Plan : Travelling to Tokyo

It's been a while since I blogged and I know there was a time when I wanted to change myself but as usual, I fell into a plateau and decided not to change. Well, I realized that the reason why I failed in changing my lifestyle and changing myself was because my life has become a cycle of boredom. I practice a lifestyle that was the same for the past less than 20 years ago. It was always waking up, go to work, eat and sleep. There was never anything exciting happening in my life. Plus, work has always been crazy stressful but that's a whole different story that I do not wish to share. Mostly because this blog is not for me to rant about my work or the people in my life but really about the world away from my personal life. So without truly thinking through and of course after having to suffer from Bell's Palsy, I guess I hit rock bottom with my life and I want to climb up again.

Unicorn Speaks : You Think It, The Real Says It

Back in 2013, Fox Channel decided to introduced five women to co-host in a daytime talk show similar to The View and The Talk calling it The Real. The five co-hosts were Jeannie Mai (my fave!), Tamera Mowry-Housley, Adrienne Bailon (now know as Houghton), Loni Love and former co-host Tamar Braxton. It took me only three years ago, which was a year after the show aired, for me to know about it and I came across it because Jeannie Mai is one of my life inspiration. After watching a few videos on Youtube (sadly, they don't air the show in Malaysia) I fell in love with it.

Unicorn Diary : Twenty Eighteen Resolution

2017 is about to end soon so it is that time of the year where we will ask everyone around what is our 2018 resolutions. I, for one, was never that person with any kind of resolution. However, a few weeks back, some things have been running around in my mind and I guess I will be blogging about it. I just realized, this is only my second post for the year...how sad is that?

Sparkling Project Two : A Change of Lifestyle

The time has come or it should come for me to start on a new journey. A journey to make a difference for myself. A change for my own benefit. I have the the tools, the directions and the plan. What I currently lack is the motivation and the jump start. In order to initiate this new change of lifestyle for me and in me, there seem to be a lot that I have to sacrifice.

I am not one who is interested in diet. I am also not one who is ever ashamed or careful about my physique. I am aware that I have plumped up and gained a few pounds but I am also aware that I am not unhealthy...yet. But for the past few months and years, I have been suffering from slightly severe skin problems. Notably it is called eczema. Apparently, according to my specialist, I have not suffered from severe eczema yet but I am neither that safe. What I need to do is first to change my diet.

Six whole months with no sugar and dairy and daily intake of blueberries (apparently the best cure for skin problems). Worst of all, I have to avoid any intake of rice, flour, bread and other related food for an entire month. This is why I am still pushing back the start of my new change. On top of that, I have to also do early mornings workout i.e. breeze walking around the park and change my bed sheets and pillowcases weekly in order to improve my skin condition.

Thus the reasons why I am still a little lazy to start on this newly recommended change. But time is running out for me and I really need to start...soon. Which brings me to the reason why I decided to blog about this. I am going to blog my weekly changes and improvements mainly for my own records. But hopefully, along the way I will soon learn about the reasons behind my changes like the benefits of blueberries and the types of food that helps to cure my eczema and of course perhaps, a few simple recipes that could benefit others with skin problems like me.
